Shaping Sustainable Practice at Your Museum

Shaping Sustainable Practice at Your Museum

Facilitator: Sarah Sutton
Contact us: Workshop@MuseumStudy.com

Every place and every person has a different process of becoming more environmentally sustainable. Your talents, interests and responsibilities, the museum’s mission, and your geographic location are major factors in determining what is needed and what is possible. This workshop focuses on the specific needs and interests of the museum and professionals participating, adapting available resources, and examples to support location-specific changes.

We’ll establish workshop goals before we convene. Sarah Sutton will share readings and resources for preparation, then organize the workshop to build your capacity, whether the group is beginning, advanced or mixed. The workshop will take place over three shorter meetings, equaling a full day of instruction time. This allows participants to observe and change their own practice during the workshop.
